What is involved in the chat service setup?

We will do the majority of the setup for your chat service such as branding the channel and customising the interface to your organisation guidelines.

Local setup will require the addition of some HTML/JavaScript code on your website, which we can work with your web/developer teams to implement.

The Norman Chat service is provided as a managed service to minimise the amount of work required from your side.

How quickly can this service be setup?

Chat setup is generally very quick - in most cases the setup can be completed within around 2 weeks, this is however dependant on the availability of local resource such as your web/development team who will need to implement some code.

Can chat only be used on my website?

Norman's chat service is entirely web based - making for both simple and quick setup as well as making it accessible to nearly all locations and devices.

In some cases you may have an app or other locally developed service which you maybe looking to integrate chat into, we are more than happy to facilitate this and can assist with development work as required. Please contact us to discuss requirements.

How will I see what chats have been dealt with by Norman?

As standard all chat transcripts are logged as tickets, which are passed back over to you on our daily handover. If you have other requirements we may be able to arrange a bespoke handover with increased frequency or even instant transfer of chat transcripts.
